Brian Spears

Brian Spears is the poetry editor of The Rumpus, and his first book, A Witness in Exile, will be released by Louisiana Literature Press in 2010. His poems have appeared in The Southern Review, Quarterly West, and Relief, among others, and have won two Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg prizes. He currently teaches at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.

Alison Pelegrin’s most recent collection of poems is Big Muddy River of Stars (U. Akron, 2007). Her poems have appeared in PoetryPloughshares, and the Southern Review, and she is the recipient of a creative writing fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts.
